If there is a Mala (Little) Lamjana, presumably there is a Velika (Great) Lamjana, too. Well, there is, but it does not feature on our list, because it is a fishing harbour and fish hatchery, and there are plans to build a marina in it soon. There are also cages for fish farming in Mala Lamjana, but only in the southwest section. You can anchor further towards the base of the bay, where there are also buoys. There is a little jetty in front of the fish hatchery building, used by their own boats and those of other fishermen, and further in, there are a score of holiday homes, mostly fairly new. But the entire northeast shore is untouched, and if you anchor there, you will feel more comfortable. The depth in the middle of the bay is around 20 metres, reducing to 8 metres 200 metres from the base. At the very base of the bay, there is a beach. During the jugo, you will find some shelter in Sabušica Bay, a mile and half southeast. This bay is well sheltered from the bura and jugo, but is completely exposed to the maestral. The bed is sandy, and you can anchor in the middle of the east arm at a depth of 10 metres.
