Narrow Mali Zaglav Point is all that separates Soline from neighbouring Sveti Ante Bay, and it also provides shelter from W and NW winds. It is definitely the best shelter on Pašman. Veliki Zaglav Point and the peninsula of Pašmanski Zaglav protect it from S winds. You can anchor throughout the bay, but the best spots are in either of the arms, where there are about seventy buoys, depending on the weather. The northwest arm is smaller and provides good shelter from W winds, but there is only comfortable room for about 20 boats, while the southeast arm is somewhat wider. I have anchored here among about 50 boats, and there was still room for us all. This arm is also more sheltered, particularly from southeast winds. If the bura is blowing, and you are not moored to a buoy, you should move closer to the shore and tie up stern to shore, as well as dropping anchor. The depth in the middle of the northwest arm is a little over 8 metres, and in the southeast arm, between 4 and 11 metres. Both arms have sandy beds covered in sea grass. The depth between the arms is considerably greater – between 20 and 25 metres – so this is where large yachts and tourist boats tend to anchor, but only if they need to, as the bed is rocky. There are more houses here than in Sveti Ante Bay, mostly in the southwest section. There are several small jetties and a tavern. There is also a footpath leading from the bay to the north side of the island, over Straža Hill and Čudonjin Peak, to the village of Kraj, so if you feel like taking a walk, it will take you about a hour to reach the village, with the Franciscan monastery of Sveti Dujam, dating back to 1390.
